Rowley has operated a full-time volunteer wildlife rescue service on the Gold Coast, 7 days a week for the past 20 years, specializing in the capture of injured, ‘fight capable’ birds. These are the hardest of the hard to catch often requiring a significant amount of time and resources. In a typical year Rowley rescues 500 sick, injured or orphaned birds.
‘This is a free capture service and will always remain so, however it can only continue if I have enough support’.
Any amount is greatly appreciated. There are regular Facebook updates to show how your help is making such a difference to the lives of birds in need. Donors who give $100 or more receive 12 issues of the Wild Bird Rescues monthly Capture Report featuring even more information and additional rescue stories.

Wild Bird Rescues Gold Coast is authorized to fund-raise by the Queensland government. You can be assured that 100% of your gift (less any credit card or service cost) will go towards essentials like the rescue vehicle, emergency telephone service, capture equipment and some office expenses. No wages are paid. This service is free to anyone who needs help with an injured bird.

3. Donate using your CREDIT CARD (or a PayPal Account if you have one). For either option click the small ‘check box’ inside your preferred picture below (if you click on the wrong check box, click again to deselect it). After that, scroll down and choose ‘One Off’ or ‘Monthly’ donation. Finally, click the ‘Donate Now’ button and fill out the PayPal form that appears. (The form offers the option to pay by credit card without having to sign up for PayPal) When payment is complete you’ll be sent an email receipt and a thank you message on video!
